1/4 of the worlds population (1.7 Billion) lives in South Asia - TopicsExpress

1/4 of the worlds population (1.7 Billion) lives in South Asia (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka). On papers, we got SAARC to represent our countries interests. SAARC being a puppet organization, how much power do we have in the global arena? Imagine our regions consumer market share? How huge it is? 1.7 Billion consumers??? Whats if we say NO, for example, may be for Coca-Cola tomorrow?! Imagine the power and the influence we could do to an external - strong economy? But the question is can we do it today? Look at Europe and EU? Look at US? Today they make decisions for us, for our part of the world. If they ask us NOT to buy Oil from Iran, from tomorrow; like silly biatches we obey them and we stop every trade deal with Iran. But why should we behave like this anymore? Why cant we be united, and stand strong as a one organization with the 1.7 billion population we have. SAARC, wake up biatch! If they can, why cant we? ;)
