1) ALL blades of Gondolin are supposed to glow around orcs. That means Sting, Glamdring, and Orcrist in the Hobbit and LOTR films. 2) Basically only Sting glows, and only when its convenient or looks cool. 3) Im a nerd and Im angry. Sooner or later--maybe a decade or two from now--theyre going to do a digital remaster of these movies. You know its gonna happen--and when they do, I hope they fix this. Until then I will annoy everyone I ever watch them with, because this actually drives me crazy.
