1 Corinthians 10:13 No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it. As believers, we will be tempted. The idea of temptation relates to how we are attacked or addressed by the world and the forces of evil. A thought, a circumstance, words spoken to you; sometimes it doesnt take much to cause us to be tempted. Evil strikes at opportunities that make you feel as though you are powerless to defend. God allows you to be tempted that you may hold strongly to Him and show your faithfulness. You are equipped to stand firm which, in some cases, means to flee from temptation. Temptation is not sin, but that is where it leads.
