1 Corinthians 13:13 and yet these three remain; Faith, Hope, and Love: But the greatest of these is Love. I want to encourage you this morning. Philippians 1:6 says Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ The definition of hope is a desire accompanied by expectation. (bear with me folks... just follow the bouncing ball!) See, Daddy gives me a desire. He plants it in the soil of my heart. As the desire grows, I begin to ask Him about it. We begin to talk about this thing that I am longing for, or this thing that I am craving to do. I trust Him in this desire planted. I give it right back to Him and I expect Him to see it through to completion, knowing His word to be true. My desire was just made HOPE. Daddy, in turn, substantiates my hope, and gives it right back to me. That is to say, HE GIVES ME MY FAITH! Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things unseen. I then, spend forever thanking the Creator of all things for giving to me, or allowing me to, or bringing me out of, (you get the idea). 1 John 4 states that God is Love twice. Once in verse 8 and again in verse 16. LOVE gives us our HOPE. We give our HOPE back to LOVE. LOVE turns that HOPE into FAITH. LOVE gives us our FAITH. Now these three remain; Faith, Hope, and Love: But the greatest of these is LOVE. This entire process is to do nothing more than bring us closer to our Father. He gives us the desires of our hearts, because WE ARE THE DESIRE OF HIS HEART! So, I took the scenic route to say this, Today, dont forget who He is for you. Dont for get who YOU are to HIM! You are I AMs!
