1 Corinthians 15:58 NKJV Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. What if you knew that within 24 hours the world was coming to an end? Would it change your perspective on life? Would it change what you did or who you talked to? It may not be something we think about often, but when we take a moment to reflect on these things, it can open our eyes to the brevity of life and Gods imminent return. Matthew 24:27 NKJV For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. The typical lightning bolt travels at 3,700 miles per second. While it may travel a long distance, this line of electricity is only seen for tenths of a second. According to Gods Word, our Lord will return in the same manner. In three-tenths of a second, our lives will forever be changed. It could be today, it may be years from now but it will happen. Are you ready? Do you know Jesus as your Savior? If so, are you living for Him? Hes coming quickly. Hes coming in power. Hes coming with rewards. Again I ask, are you ready? Life Lesson: We should live ready. We should live knowing that life one day will suddenly, absolutely and radically change.
