My daughters 2nd birthday is coming up and there are kids with allergies so need a different approach. 3. Hi, Im just looking for some advice on ways to get my 22 month old to go to sleep. We took her dummy away a couple of months ago, and ever since nap and bedtime has become a nightmare. It takes me almost an hour each time to get her to lay down and go to sleep. If I leave her to cry she will stand up and scream the place down the whole time until she is sobbing uncontrollably. Were due for baby two in 8 weeks, and I worry I wont have an hour to sit next to her bed and eventually convince her to sleep! 4. My son is 1 week away from turning 1. Did anyone still nurse their LO to sleep at this stage? Does anyone have any suggestions on other ways I can get him to sleep independently without me having to nurse him? and lately he keeps waking up through out the night. He use to sleep from 7pm-7am but he wont do that anymore. Im also starting to have trouble getting him to have his day nap lately. Im in my third trimester and my hubby is away. Im seriously exhausted. I havent had a good nights sleep in a while. Any advice would be great as Im starting to stress out and I dont know how Im going to handle my son having trouble sleeping and looking after a newborn.
