1 Empathy. Is the thing. The end all.... And the be all. We - TopicsExpress

1 Empathy. Is the thing. The end all.... And the be all. We come to this ground without it, incapable of it. We learn this most important... talent... skill... Here. We learn it until we become it. If you knew where we come from, if you knew where we are going... Empathy, is the culmination of awareness. 2 Our existence is like a lava lamp. Parts of the whole getting excited by heat and light, bubbling outward in eruptions of a large mass, often accompanied be many small satellites. On closer inspection the large mass is found to be made up of many, many super smaller individuals. And the satellites... lets call them, tribes, flow out with the mass, but stand apart. The mass influences the tribes, and the tribes influence the mass. This is not rocket science. The project reaches out, into a darker, colder unknown. In do so, it brings heat and motion to the farther places. How does the lava lamp metaphor relate to the empathy imperative? Well its where we came from and where we are going. Stuff gets spit out of the sun all the time. And only at that point can it possibly be considered an individual. It shoots out behaving in god knows what manner, until it becomes denser than its environment, and gravity pulls it back. And you guessed it, it sinks back into the sun, only to become, again, an indistinguishable part of the whole. (this is kind of a metaphor, dont show it to the wonks at Cal or theyll get out their chalk and well be here for a week.) But you see my point. 3 Existence is also like a video game cause, like, the above scenario becomes more malleable as the levels progress and stuff, and then you get to the gate with the dude, and you go through, or you dont, and thats where the bodhisattva come in and stuff and naturally after a few times around the block, attachments develop, and camaraderie, and understanding... and oh... heres a surprise Empathy. And you melt into the whole, eyes wide open. And the gate I mentioned, with the dude, (actually a lot of times its a chick. I just always call the person at the gate dude. As in, Dude... How did you get this crazy job? I dont know, habit I guess, Anyway, the gate, going through that gate, could best be described as, ummm... changing gears on the freeway, only, every time you change gears, your in a nicer car. and dont ask me, I dont know, somehow the freeways have more dimensions, its like an Escher thing, and we can move in ways that us simple folk would perceive to be moving in two different directions at once. Crazy. And time. Dont even ask me about time, cause frankly, thats where it starts to get weird and I dont want you to think Im a nut. So, Im gonna conclude by saying that Hall and Oats actually made some really good music and Lake Tahoe turns the most amazing shade of blue around 3 o clock, and Jackie at Rosies Cafe in Tahoe City has fantastic personality skills, and Im going to find my place here. I guess what Im saying is this, https://youtube/watch?v=tSsatKLmm70
