1) I dont hate black people. - I hate the system that tells them they are unlikely to succeed because of bigotry, and robs them of ambition, striving, integrity and the ability to be a model in these matters for their children and achieve things for their family. Are there racists? Well sure, it a big country and discomfort with difference is the oldest and most universal human inclination, though I think its better in America than anywhere in the world. There are surely even more racists than there are people who believe they have been captured and probed by space aliens. But its of no use to build social policy around either of them. 2) It is the success of selling the previous narrative to young blacks that makes them more likely to violate the law and come into occassion where police might have to use force. But cops dont generally sign up to risk their lives for the opportunity to oppress black people. Rather they do it to save lives, irrespective of ethnicity. 3) Simply put, without people of the manner of character of cops and soldiers, we woud all be overrun by predators domestic and foreign. Freedom and opportunity would be a dream. 4) I dont hate poor people. I wish them every opportunity to escape poverty and attain success and dignity, or to receive human generosity (which government is NOT) if they cannot. Freedom makes both opportunity at the bottom of the economic spectrum and great success at the top.
