1. I won the Georgia FFA State award for Poultry in 1970 and got to go to Kansas City for the annual convention. 2. I was in two tornadoes that hit Athens a month apart in 1973. 3. I got to meet Odetta at the old Last Resort later in the same year. 4. I was going to streak in Athens near campus but chickened out. 5. I directed traffic in Athens on game days in the mid 70s 6. My ex is 12 yrs. younger than me. Were married 24 yrs. 7. Snuck out of the house during Junior year of high school while my parents went to a prayer meeting, to buy the Easy Rider album. 8. My first wife was the sister of my sister-in-law. Figure that one out. 9. I drank my first beer at Hurricane Shoals during lunch break for senior exams at JHS. 10. I broke into a rental van in Calgary, Ca. in 1998 because the driver locked the keys inside with all of my stuff inside. They wanted to know how I learned that talent, I just said Im from Jackson County, Georgia! 11. I got to have some stick time on a Huey flying back from Hunter AAF outside Savannah back to our base at Charlie Brown in Atlanta. That was maybe 1979. Hope its not too boring!
