1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness we dont have to allow the burden of Guilt to hold us down any longer when we are in Christ we are SORROWFUL for breaking the relation by our sinful actions & or deeds or by Not doing something God said do like speak to someone about Him but the crowd or it was family ....etc the key now is not to walk around guilty or not to blow it off saying things like oh we all human but rather Tell God what we did ( He already know s and is waiting to hear from us) then dont do it any more well i dont know if i will do it again pops in our heads , im not strong enough... etc God know that as well thats why He will help ANYONE who is really wanting to stop a sin , when we confess it we can find His word on a certain thing then read what He says & by seeing examples of how someone else over came it we can get strength through Gods Holy Spirit & trusting in Gods word
