1.) June: I pick up animation after a 6 year hiatus as a passion project for the summer and start developing an animated series. 2.) I secure my old job at Norfolk Southerns corporate media center, helping with clerical work and excess editing and motion graphics, despite a drastic shift in the companys media program that should have barred me from coming back. 3.) To my surprise, I am told that I have been brought on board with full pay as a contractor. 4.) Within three weeks my primary responsibility at the company has shifted from excess editing to being head animator and director of two new, unforeseen 100% animation projects, in a strictly live-action program. Conclusion: I am working a long-term job supporting myself by learning and executing the work that I had sought out to do for free and passion in June. God moves in mysterious ways indeed, and has blessed me tremendously. I can only hope that I can give back according to what I have received. Thank you Lord Jesus!
