1. Just wondering if there are any how to, or baby led books mums recommend when beginning solids? 2. I’m looking to find a mothers group around Bexley North NSW or does anyone know where I would go to find out? 3. Can anyone recommend a good reliable thermometer ? 4. I have had to start my 10 week old boy on farex to fill him up that little bit more as Im already giving him enough milk 5 times a day. I follow the save our sleep book in regards to solids do I just feed him the farex for the next 2 weeks or do I start as she has the suggested methods to introduce solids??? 5. Wanting to hear others experiences with Braxton hicks. This time (3rd pregnancy, 2nd child) since 19 weeks theyve felt like being stabbed in the belly and/or back. Drs have told me to take panadol but that doesnt help and I dont want to be living on it either. Im only 22 weeks so was hoping others have ideas on coping with the pain. 6. I have an 11 mth old, breastfeeds 3 times a day + solids, and then a few times overnight to resettle. I want to be out occasionally at bedtime but baby is very reliant on bedtime breast feed. Have tried alternatives but only wants to be BF, Any tips? I guess Im essentially trying to gradually wean but its really only so I can occasionally go out & bubs not get upset without breastfeeds. 7. My 16 week old will only sleep for 40 mins during the day each time I out him down. I can move him to the pram and go walking and he will go back to sleep eventually but this is not always an option. Any advice in resettling and getting him to sleep longer?? 8. Which part of beef and pork should I buy when making my 7mth son purée? & How many ml of milk does baby need after 7 months ?( my understanding is shouldnt be based on weight anymore ) and does BM I put into solids count toward the daily intake ? Im exclusively BF and bub is on 2 solids per day.
