1. My dearest and oldest friends call me Wellie (a nickname my mom had given me). 2. I think about my Grandma everyday. She was my best friend and I miss her very much. 3. I will always be a New York girl at heart. I have lived in Illinois since 1997 but there is no place like home (childhood friends, family, having the ocean, Great South Bay, Fire Island, NYC and New York pizza whenever you want it). 4. John & I got married on the island of Grand Cayman. 5. I absolutely hate not having any family and/or childhood friends living in the same state as us. (It is very hard at the holidays when the girls ask us why we are not celebrating with family and we tell them it is difficult to when everyone lives in different states). 6. Have spent/spend way too much time wondering if I will live past 49 years old (my mom died at 49 and her mom died at a much younger age both from cancer - colon and breast). 7. Cannot imagine not being a mom to my two daughters. When I was younger, I did not always know if I wanted to have children. 8. Having a hard time coming up with nine things about me that I want to share with everyone on Facebook. I am a very private person. 9. Regret that I never lived in NYC or studied abroad when I was younger. 10. I live for 7-11 coffee (blueberry or vanilla flavor only) and hope and pray that a 7-11 opens somewhere closer to where I live. I need to drive 15 minutes to the closest one. For all of my Patchogue friends, I want one close to me like the one on Roe Blvd.
