1 Peter 1:6-7 New International Version (NIV) 6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Thank you God for hearing my prayers for the kind of patients that would put me in the frame of mind to make the call & say the words with the attitude I needed to say them today. From my the special needs patient who told me she would love me forever....who broke my heart by saying her sister was mean to her and hit her, to my cancer patient that I have scanned a half dozen times or more through the years & her sharing her book with me that has already touched my heart the pages that I have read, to the PawPaw who just lost the the love of his life in March after 32 years of marriage and seemed to glow telling me so many sweet stories of their adventures through the years. I know I am less that thankful sometime driving to and from Anniston on call....but I am in a wonderful place, doing what I enjoy and having the time to sit and talk to my patients in this changing world of healthcare makes happy to think I can make a difference. God Bless all the ones who touched my heart today & give someone very special to me the strength to endure what lies ahead and know how much I love her & will be with her every step of the way! Amen
