1 Peter 3 (2 BROTHERS & SISTERS N CHRIST JESUS HUSBANDS/WIVES/ANYBODY N JESUS...) 1 PETER 3: Wives, in the same way submit yourselves 2 your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity & reverence of your lives. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles & the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle & quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. 4 this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used 2 adorn themselves. They submitted themselves 2 their own husbands, like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham & called him her lord. U are her daughters if U do what is right and do not give way 2 fear. (BIBLICAL TRUTH 4 US) Husbands, in the same way be considerate as U live with your wives, & treat them with respect as the weaker partner & as heirs with U of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers. Suffering 4 Doing Good: Finally, all of U, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate & humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because 2 this U were called so that U may inherit a blessing. 4, “Whoever would love life & see good days must keep their tongue from evil & their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it. 4 the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous & his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” Who is going 2 harm U if U are eager 2 do good? (NOW THIS IS REAL TEACHING/PREACHING, THE TRUTH N JESUS!!!) But even if U should suffer 4 what is right, U are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.” But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared 2 give an answer 2 everyone who asks U 2 give the reason 4 the hope that U have. But do this with gentleness & respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. 4 it is better, if it is God’s will, 2 suffer 4 doing good than 4 doing evil. 4 Christ also suffered once 4 sins, the righteous 4 the unrighteous, 2 bring U 2 God. Jesus was put 2 death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. After being made alive, Jesus went & made proclamation 2 the imprisoned spirits— 2 those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water, & this water symbolizes baptism that now saves U also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves U by the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven & is at God’s right hand—with angels, authorities & powers in submission 2 him.
