Oat bran works typically the same way that high-fiber foods do, and that is by making someone feel easily full in the stomach and by aiding in eliminating wastes. But there is more. Oat bran can lower blood cholesterol by absorbing excess fats and making fats available for use by the body. The good thing is that you can have the same weight loss effects just by consuming a bowl of oatmeal in the morning. 5. Olive Oil Switching to olive will also be an instant diet tool. This oil tells the brain that it has to stop producing the appetite hormones that the endocrine system produces every time hunger pangs are felt. In a University of Irvine study, it was discovered that olive oil undergoes transformation to become a compound called oleoylethanolamide, a powerful compound that can signal the brain to stop hunger-messaging processes.
