1. Re-nationalise water and rail. 2. Link the remuneration of all state-owned businesses (i.e. bailed-out banks) to the minimum wage. 3. Start a state-run, non-profit internet provider. 4. Start a state-run, non-profit letter and parcel delivery service (yes, I admit this has been thought of before). 5. Start state-run universities that offer the same quality of education as other universities, but dont charge fees. Their intake would be selective, but entirely on merit, not on social class.
