◄ 1 Thessalonians 5:18 Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus. I know if you were anything like me.(baby in Christ) You thought it means give thanks for all GOOD things that happens right? Well as you see the scripture says, IN ALL THINGS GIVE THANKS, ITS GODS WILL THAT WE OBEY THIS SCRIPTURE.... WHY? all things? Happy you asked. I have cancer, as hard as it was for me to hear those words, the Holy Spirit put this scripture in my heart, I mean as soon as the doctors confermed what God had already showed me. I immediately started giving God praise! Remember its His Will for us in Jesus Christ to be thankful in all things. I was thankful, I obeyed God when He woke me up in the middle of the night and He told me to go seek medical help, I did! I was also obedient to Gods word, this scripture. Because I was joyous and thankful, after learning I had cancer, I was accused of lying about it (having cancer) the nay sayers accused me of seeking attention, by claiming cancer. BUT GOD! I am so thankful 3 years before my diagnosis with cancer, I got serious about my relationship with God, I read Gods word day and night. I never cease in my studies. The word was in me. Through my studies of Gods word I learned just what satan didnt want me to know, that no matter my circumstances, I am blessed by God, all I had to do was believe and have faith that satan nor cancer, or any weapon forming against me could prosper! Thats why, when I was told I had cancer, I could break out in a praise. I didnt make having cancer small. I made my Jesus big!
