1. We have not been served with any papers requiring us to attend court. 2. We have NOT received any orders from anyone; strikes can never be resolved through orders. 3. Government should stop hiding behind the Courts; let the Government engage teachers in candid negotiations. 4. We heard the cabinet secretary stating that if the court declares the strike illegal then TSC will not pay. The secretary must be a prophet. 5. We DEMAND that the TSC pays teachers salary for June 2013 immediately. 6. All teachers INCLUDING THOSE IN PRIVATE SCHOOLS close down your schools and intensify strike activity because the children you are teaching will sit the same exams. 7. NEC MEMBERS AND BRANCH EXECUTIVE SECRETARIES; (a) Commence arrangements to intensify strike activity as from TODAY. (b) Organize prayer rallies at district head quarters. (c) Organize peaceful demonstrations. (d) Ensure all schools within your branch are closed. 8. teachers be prepared for intimidation and harassment There will be many attempts by government to defeat the strike,. Listen to only one voice – THAT the SECRETARY GENERAL of KNUT.
