1. Wondering how others keep there 5 month.Olds entertained mine are getting sick of being on the floor but I cant keep carrying them around everywhere . And there not crawling yet so they just lay there and get frustrated and cry 2. For those who had catnapping babies, at what age did they start sleeping longer stretches? 3. First time mum - emergency Caesar, day 5 today. Any tips for getting in and out of bed? Chairs are no problem. I cant lay on my side yet due to pain with abdo muscle separation. 4. I have a 6mo that lately is being very hard to breastfeed. She is more interested in looking at what her big sister is doing rather then drinking. Because of this she is not staying on long enough to start with to get me to let down my milk and then she gets really frustrated with me and fights latching on. Ive tried only feeding when shes really hungry which helps a bit but not a huge amount. Because of this she is walking up during the night alot coz shes hungry. Im so tired and my milk supply is dropping because of all this 5. Im pregnant with baby #2, our second girl, and we really like the name Eve but struggling to find a middle name that flows well. We are looking for a more modern name, we dont like traditional names like Elizabeth or Marie. Does anyone have any suggestions? 6. Just wondering when should i stop swaddling my bub? She is 6 mths old. Would i move onto putting her in a baby sleeping bag? She seems to be escaping from the swaddle at night and resettling herself.... 7. I am 24 weeks pregnant & I have been sleeping on my sides as suggested. Ive noticed that no matter what pillows I use (body, small, or large) I usually either wake up at night with hip pain or have hip pain in the morning. I wake up several times every night to roll over. Usually I sleep awesome but this is really affecting my sleep. Does anyone have any suggestions to avoid hip soreness? 8. Im just wondering if other mums have felt this way. Im 37+4 weeks pregnant with no 2. I also have a 3yo dd. I have had 2 miscarriages between my 2 babies and with the impending birth of no 2 Im feeling very anxious and very emotional (crying over anything). Have other mums experienced this? I dont know whether its normal or whether its because I have suffered the two losses in between my two babies. I just want no 2 to be here asap and safe and sound in my arms. Then Im worried about SIDS and also worried about getting post natal depression (I didnt suffer this with no 1). Basically Im worrying about anything and everything. I have a very supportive husband who is a wonderful help and I can talk to about anything but Im really wanting to see how other mums have felt in this situation. Thanks.
