1 died, 05 injured in road accidents: Farhan Qayoom, Sachnews Jammu Kashmir Srinagar, October 09: One person died while five others were injured in separate road accidents across the valley. A Load carrier ( JK01S-3915) and a Scooty driven by Haroon Ahmad Nadaf son of Mohammad Amin resident of Kanipora Nowgam, Srinagar collided at Mujgund Parimpora, Srinagar. In this accident the Scooty rider and two pillon got injured. All the injured were shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment where Haroon Ahmad succumbed to his injuries. A motorcycle (JK01W-0656) driven by Owais Ahmad son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Batamaloo, Srinagar and a Maruti Car ( JK16-0447) collided at Cheerwan Ganderbal. The motorcyclist was injured in this accident. The injured was shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for treatment. A Tata Sumo ( JK18-3384) hit and injured a pedestrian Masrat Jan daughter of Nazir Ahmad Ganie resident of Ferah at Bozgam, Devsar, Kulgam. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Kulgam where from she was referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment. A Tavera vehicle ( JK05B/7336) hit a motorcycle driven by Ubaid Rehman son of Abdul Rehman resident of Sulkote near Sulkote, Kupwara, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
