1 dies, 5 Injured in road mishaps. One person died and five others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. An unidentified vehicle hit a Motorcycle ( JK05A-1384 ) near Model Town B, Sopore on National Highway, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Ashiq Hussain Mir son of Nazir Ahmad R/O Brath Kalan, Sopore and pillion Mohammad Ashiq Khan son of Abdul Gani R/O Seloo, Sopore. Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS, Srinagar for treatment, where Ashiq Hussain Mir succumbed to his injuries. A Tavera ( JK03-9955 ) on way from Srinagar to Anantnag hit and injured a pedestrian Mohammad Moosa Mandhar son of Mohammad Yousuf resident of Kalakote Rajouri at Sethar, Sangam Anantnag. He was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Bijbehara for treatment where from he was referred to SKIMS, Srinagar for further treatment. An unidentified vehicle hit a Motorcycle at Ahad Baba Crossing, Sopore, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Mohammad Ramzan Ganie son of Mohammad Mukhtar and pillion Jehangir Ahmad Ganie son of Mohammad Subhan resident of Nowpora Kalan, Sopore. Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Sopore for treatment. A Tata Indica ( JK01F-6120) rammed into an electric pole at Old Nishat, Srinagar,resulting in injuries to driver Irshad Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Gani resident of Awantipora. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Srinagar for treatment.
