1) how long does a post have to be before too many people will think or write too long; didnt read? 2) will it make a difference if a post is broken up into bite-sized list items, as opposed to one long paragraph? 3) what if part of it rhymes like a song? will the make the rest of it not seem so long? or will that still make people say so long! (is rhyming so long with so long! so wrong?) 4) are people who think things are too long to read the kind of people who will read the first item or two and then stop, or will the overall length scare them off from reading any of it to begin with? 5) if i truly wanted an answer to this question from the source of people who might be turned off by too long a post, shouldnt i have stopped this post from being so long already? am i a bad scientist, or a great sentence artist? 6) how do people feel about a sentence artist being a thing? theres not already a word for that, like writer, right? er. 7) why do i feel compelled to get this list of questions to 10? something about the patriarchy? 8) at this point, im compelled to write tl;dw. (too long; didnt write.) 9) thanks for reading this whole thing, people who got this far. 10) did anyone read some of the beginning, skip some of the middle, and then jump right to this ending? am i a good scientist now? (if you want to know the reference for that, youll have to read some of the middle. ive tricked you!) 11) spinal tap.
