#1 thing college has taught me, is that its OK to be passionate about stuff ~ even controversial stuff. DONT JUDGE ~ one of mine is this doc. I promise my passion about this stuff is not to convert the world to choose my faith. Although contrary to what the Bible suggests should be one of many of my major objectives as a Christian.... Its just not me. I gotta work REALLY REALLY REALLY hard to bust out that gift of evangelism, so I know thats not my role. Neither is it for me to tell people how to live. In fact for me our diversity is what I love about people, enjoying our differences is what Im somewhat of a fanatic about. It makes me sad, that lots of peeps look at me and think Im trying to convert them. No .... its just a topic I like. Like a hobby ~ this is my craft. I dont want to argue about it, nor debate anything.... I just want to know more. In some denominations my position is considered a sin, a selfish self-centered approach to the cause of Christ, I could be called a pew warmer, or Ive even been told I must not really be a believer in the Savior~~~~ }}you got me....I AM ALL OF THE ABOVE BABY if thats how you see it, and it aint none of your business, so lay off !! Ive watched different portions of this doc 4 times in the last few days. Due to some unforseen life events, my ability to read is limited to short spurts. So its gotta be listening to research for this paper. Better than nothing. Karen Armstrong has become some kind of hero to me. Lol
