10-10-14 has been another memorable day for the crew of Karupu Sarithiram. We do realise that a lot of you were not able to watch the video during the second and third slot yesterday. We regret for this mishap. Please note that the video will be telecasted on 11-10-2014 at 03:30pm and 06:00pm and it will continue to be played on Sun Music for the next few more days. The following post is lengthy but I strongly urge every aspirant to read it: Since the lyrics, music and visuals justify the intent of Karupu Sarithiram, I would restrict myself in explaining further. However, this piece of art has come up with a summation of great talents and humble souls. They are deserved to be applauded: 1) Sarvanaa – Music Composer He values relationships more than his expertise and no wonder Sarvanaa and I have been good friends for over years. I swear he is the best music composer, not because he is my friend but when you listen to Karupu Sarithiram, you will be able to witness it yourself. I can confidently say that a rap song has never been attempted to compose in a way Sarvanaa has composed. With his network, we were able to engineer our track in USA. Without him, Karupu Sarithiram would not have been sounding as soothing as how it is. 2) Anand Sunderesha - Cinematographer. If you are a film maker or aspiring to be one like me, it is just not enough to narrate your story effectively but you should know to communicate visually. In this case, I have been lucky because of Anand. I have not seen an individual who can technically be an expert and yet be a great communicator. His communication skills are at par and cinematography is above par. Every frame that you would watch and if you like them, it is only because of this Gentleman. His work proficiency will make any film maker a pleasure to associate with him. Without him, Karupu Sarithiram would not have been as visually appealing as how it is. 3) GuruPrasad N – Editor. The “CHINNA – GOLD” of the project (at least for me he has been the CHINNA). The most stressful time for me was at the editing desk. Looking at the same footage several times made me stressful. Most of the times we edited during night and Guru is such a great professional and enthusiast to sit and edit for more than 15 hours at a stretch Sometimes at 3:00am we would check the status. Even at that time, his eyes would be wide open and keenly working. Every cuts and visual effects you would see is because of this humble person. Without him, Karupu Sarithiram would not have been as narrative as how it is. 4) Team Escrew Driverzzz – Sandeep, Venkat, Tarun, Vishwanath, Avinash, Anurag, Praveen & Pramod Since I have trained people on leadership and team development for several years now, I think I can fearlessly mention that I have never come across a team who is as effective and productive as Escrew Driverzzz. I have personally learned behaviours from them which I failed to learn it in the past. Every member knows their responsibility and they excel in them. Be it Tarun & Vishwa who has been a great support in scouting locations, costumes and properties. Avinash in his exemplary photography. Sandeep and Venkat in being experts in handling camera. Anurag, Praveen and Pramod who backed us up and for their inputs. This whole team has to be pictured, framed and kept on every corporate leader’s desk. Without them, Karupu Sarithiram would not look as professional as how it is. 5) Parul Dwivedi – Actor Parul is a slim, fair and a beautiful lady. When I was skeptical to pair with her, it was her who strongly believed that our pair would work on the screen. I respect her confidence and her efforts of coping with our work schedules. I must say she has been extremely ethical and supportive in the whole process of making this project. Without her, Karupu Sarithiram would not have been as realistic as how it is. 6) Vinoth Kulashekeran & Deepak Chandar – Well wisher Though I wrote the lyrics a year ago, I never made a serious effort of producing an audio or a video. It is only because of Vinoth & Deepak’s confidence on me and their boasting words, the project kicked-off. Without them, Karupu Sarithiram would not have started. 7) Rakesh Karunagaran – Associate Director A calm, cool and composed Gentleman. His knowledge towards film making is unbeatable. He has been a backbone through-out the whole process of this project. His vision for clarity in the script and his keenness towards the aesthetics of the film is an outcome of all the scenes. I have been strong & confident because of him. He is one of the members in our family & it is truly because of his honesty and humbleness. Without him Karupu Sarithiram would not have progressed. 8) Arun Prasad – Friend (A True Friend) Though Arun is a software engineer by profession, the passion that he brings towards music is incomparable. Every line in the song was initially written to convince Arun and only after he approves, it would be documented. Including this post. Personally, Arun has been a great motivator for the crew of Karupu Sarithiram & indeed to me. Without him, Karupu Sarithiram would not have been Karupu Sarithiram 8) Rakesh Rajan – My brother and Producer If I am what I am today is only because of him. He is my soul and a great brother – I am lucky. A great professional and he ensured we receive everything that is needed to finish this project. Without him, Karupu Sarithiram and I would not have existed. I know it is a pretty lengthy tale. If you have had the patience to read till here then I am sure you have loved me and this post is of course intended only to you. Do share and support as always.
