10/23/14 Ghost is still doing ok. Still will not venture out of the sun room where her crate is though and still wont come in the door from outside most of the time. But yesterday it was raining and for a dog that has lived outside most of her life, she seemed like she didnt want to go in the rain! Instead, she walked to the covered porch area! Eventually she did go in the yard and as soon as she was done she ran up the stairs and IN the house. I tried putting her on the sofa again but she is just too afraid and tries to claw her way over the top to jump off so that wont be happening again any time soon. I even take her into the kitchen but she immediately goes back to the sun room and her crate. When shes outside shes doing a lot of jumping up on the fence as if to see if theres a way out. It really is breaking my heart to see her not free and running around having a good time but then I also think of the winter coming and I dont want her out there in the cold. On a good note she is eating well.
