10:40 PM 11/20 | A large dome of Canadian high pressure was responsible for keeping chilly temperatures in place today. Temperatures have taken a tumble into the upper 20s to lower 30s across most locations and in the mid to upper 30s right around the District. I do not expect temperatures to drop much more overnight. Skies will be partly cloudy. It looks like there will be plenty of clouds around on Thursday. High temperatures will in the upper 40s with a southeast wind around 10 mph. We may be able to reach the upper 50s on Friday. However, a cold front will be on the move towards the area Saturday, bringing a chance of rain. Gusty northwest winds Saturday night into Sunday will usher in an arctic blast. High temperatures on Sunday will only be in the 30s! (Lead Forecaster Jason)
