The Glass Heart by Sally Gardner -About hearts that are as fragile as glass, hearts that are resilient and hearts that should be touched by velvet hands 2. Hauntings by Susan Price - Where I learned that the scariest things in life arent ghosts - Inception concepts and poltergeists (hello Zam) 3. A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket (Daniel Handler) - I read the whole series in 13 days (one book a day) because the library wouldnt let me borrow them all at once - This book legitly made me smarter because of all the riddles and confusing events HAHA 4. Holes by Louis Sachar - First book I read that had me confused until all the events made sense at the end - no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great great-grandfather 5. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling - Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real? 6. New Moon by Stephanie Meyer - Because I hated the series at first but loved it (to the point of buying the fan guide) after picking this particular book up from the library 7. The Book of Answers by Carol Bolt - One of my souvenirs from working at Fully Booked for a month - Wouldnt have met a friend if I didnt follow this books advice 8. The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart -Similar to Holes 9. Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm - If you take time to read the stories over and over again, youll see that theres more than meets the eye. -It was interesting to read the inspirations for childrens films 10.
