10 CHARACTER TRAITS OF A HUMBLE PERSON 1. A person poor in spirit will always ask for help when they need it, and when they ask for help they dont insist it is done their way. 2. A humble person is quick to forgive, difficult to offend and glad to wait on God for vindication. 3, A humble person is patient and long-suffering with the weaknesses of other people. Galatians 6 says we are to bear the failings of the week and when you correct them do it with an attitude of humility, lest you yourself fall into the same trap and end up doing something worse than what they are doing. 4. A humble person is a peacemaker and a peace lover. They know when to be quiet, they are first to apologize even if they are always the one to do it. 5. A humble person sees their own weaknesses and readily admits them. If you want to endear(caused to be loved or liked) yourself to people, be willing to share your flaws. It is very difficult to be around someone who appears to be perfect especially if you feel like you are far from it. 6. A humble man always makes other people look good. He gives credit where credit is due. 7. A humble person happily serves other people. He gives and he doesnt do it to be seen, he does it unto God knowing his reward will come from Him. 8. A humble person is VERY THANKFUL!! Very thankful people are not only happy people, they are very powerful people! A grouch and someone who complains all the time and somebody who finds fault with everything, they are not happy, they are not powerful, they are pitiful. (I worked with someone like that. Instead of running from it I allowed God to refine me and teach me how to love and pray for them. So many times I wanted to tell people what he was really like but the Holy Spirit kept telling me to be quiet. That is hard to do especially when you know they are speaking falsely about you.) 9. A humble person has a tender conscious and is very quick to repent. 10. Number 10 is for leaders, people with power, with positions of power, people with authority, bosses and companies, heads of organizations etc. How leaders treat people is the quickest way to find out what level of humility they have or dont have because a real leader will treat people with respect and be good to everybody.
