This cyclone has "restarted", showing sudden deep convection, and a reinitiation of monitoring and modelling is in effect. As it crosses very warm water it will strengthen, despite some significant wind shear. Centered on 30.6N 65.0W at 1500Z about 145 miles south of Bermuda. Central pressure 1008 mb. Sustained winds 35 knots gusting 45. Tracking north at 10 knots. TROPICAL STORM WARNING - Bermuda. VOS with 300 miles of adjusted centre and approaching Bermuda report every 3 hours. TROPICAL STORM HUMBERTO - Eastern Atlantic. HUMBERTO has increased in intensity and is expected to make a turn to the NW and strengthen. Centered on 14.6N 27.7W at 1500Z about 220 miles west of the Cape Verde Islands. Central pressure 998 mb falling. Sustained winds 55 knots gusting 65. Tracking WNW at 8 knots forecast to turn NW. This cyclone is expected to reach hurricane strength by later today. VOS within 300 miles of adjusted centre report every 3 hours.
