10 Ways Through Which A Christian Can Steal Intentionally or Unknowingly + Stealing at work. When you get late to work, leave earlier than usual or overextend your break you are stealing from your employers. + Changing work terms after an agreement has been made or paying late. You must pay the people you hire on time (Deut. 24:14-15; James 5:3-5; Lev. 19:11,13). + Borrowing without paying back. Its not a sin to take a loan or borrow, but its a sin not to pay back when you should. Its the wicked that borrows and does not pay (Ps. 37:21). + Tax evasion. The Bible tells us to render to people their dues...tribute to those to whom it is due. We must be subject to all constituted authority because God placed them there (Rom. 13:1-8). + Not paying tithes and offerings. Even if you pay your tithes but fail to pay in full or decide to skip some months, youre as guilty as those that dont pay tithes at all (Mal. 3:7-9). + Taking things without permission. Taking things you didnt pay for. + Depriving colleagues of benefits, promotions and progress. When you stand in the way of someone elses progress, youre stealing whats rightfully theirs. When you (as a boss) takes forcefully what belongs to a subordinate, youre stealing from them. + Getting rich unjustly. When you get something by fraud, you put a limit to what you are likely to achieve in life. A false balance is an abomination to the LORD (Prov. 11:1). + Reaping where youve not sown. You cant be in a church for a number of years, without being a blessing to it and expect to be a partaker of the blessings flowing in that house. #ThouShallNotSteal
