10 Years ago I lost my father. Robin Dennis Colledge.. I also lost the idea of ever having my father... Still not sure which one hurt more... These pictures came to me a short time ago from my cousin Cameron Hacault. I have never before seen a picture of my family like this before the age of 27. Ive only ever seen pictures of me and my dad and i only have very few of those as well. I did not know my father growing up however i did go to highschool with his best friends sons.. The modenese family.. Crazy right.. however i carried the last name of a step father. No ties were made.. Until I got word of my dad in hospise dying of mulitple sclerosis.. every wish i ever made got answer and destroyed all in one moment.. At this same time I lost the father I had growing up .. My mother and him had a divorce.. My father died about a year after me getting to come face face.. I dont rmemeber my father not sick.. I never got to feel his arms wrap out me.. I however did get to love him and get to know him before he left us and for that I am greatful.. I have no memories of my father other then him sick and unhealthy and withering away however even in those moments he was a fighter.. A survivor he lost his battle 10 years ago on Nov 17th 2004 around 5:05 am with franco at his side.. i do belive in the eagle ridge hospital.. He was gone.. and his body was not.. we all said our goodbyes and drove home to avril lavigne Slipped away The song breaks my heart.. I now have my wonderful sibblings and nephews in my life.. Kiss you loved ones today.. and dont give up on ones that sitll might come back if you can.. Phew! Love you all!!
