10% off! Thats kind of a shitty discount right? 10% probably wont cover the postage on most orders Id imagine. Thats what Im currently giving as the Christmas discount at my webstore (scroobiuspip.co.uk when you enter the code SDR10) and, whilst I have a moment sat on this train I feel the need to explain it. Basically, I do all I can to keep the prices of my Merch (and indeed tickets) as low and affordable as possible, whilst still earning a little to fund things like the podcast and numerous other projects that arent run at a profit. If you look at a lot of bands websites you will see £20 is a fairly common price for a tee. I have most of mine at £15 as I feel thats what I used to pay for band tees when I was growing up and it therefore sits more comfortably. Most of the time theyre the same shirts so, other than the difference quantity of orders can make, its mainly a profit thing (just to clarify, Im not claiming all bands use the same shirts or should sell for the same price). From the jackets to the hats I try to GENERALLY keep the price as low as possible as I never want to feel like Im ripping any of YOU off (I have ripped people off for work in the past but theyve always been big companies with big budgets...ive said too much...). So thats why, when considering a discount... 10% seemed to be the best I could come up with. Anyway, thats enough chatter. Feel free to go buy some stuff. Feel equally free not to.
