10 random facts about me, inspired by Brooke Gordon 1. i can fall asleep in ten seconds flat, at any time of day. even if standing up. after 10pm, it takes 3 seconds or less 2. before i leave for work each morning, i leave a glass of chilled/ice water on my wifes nightstand. i wrap it in a paper towel, if its particularly cold, so she doesnt have to feel the cold glass first thing in the morning 3. everyone knows i wear two silver rings. one on each hand. few know the ring on my right hand reads Man of God. im a terrible example of a man of God. the ring is to remind ME to be a better example 4. im blind. far more than legally blind. cant see two inches in front of me. i visit an optometrists every March to have custom-fitting contact lens made for me. corrected vision is 10/10. with my superhero lens in, i can count the pores on your nose from 3 feet away 5. i think youre better than me. i dont care who you are. youre better than me. i also think im better than you. doesnt matter who you are. i can beat you at pretty much anything you try. you figure that one out 6. i work 80+ hours a week. my wife can vouch for this. often, more. its Wednesday on a random week. im in a random hotel in a random place in America. im taking ten minutes to reply to this Facebook thing just for the sake of having a ten minute break. after that, ill work til midnight, sleep six hours, and do it all over again. thats insane, i know 7. i cant stand my hands being dirty. at all. freaks me out. smear mud and dirt all over my body and face? no problem. stay away from my hands 8. im a space nerd. Star Wars, Star Trek, whatever. lean towards Star Trek. ive seen Star Trek (2009) over a thousand times. true story. i can watch it right now and cry in a second. ive got it that bad 9. my great grandfather was/is a god to me. giant, strong man. wise, teaching, disciplined, loving. i think ive spent my whole life looking for someone to pay attention to me as much as he did. my mother says i extended his life by giving him someone to look after. he extended my lifes worth by giving me an example of what a man should be. in my humble opinion 10. i am the luckiest human being on the planet. in spite of whatever. whatever challenges. im the luckiest. i dare anyone to dispute that
