10 things you might not know (or care to) about me: 1. I think these lists have been pretty interesting, and Ive probably liked at least 15 of them, I was just waiting for the appropriate number of things I wanted to share. 2. I could watch only history and space documentaries for the rest of my life. 3. I went to school with Tad from middle school, but had never even spoken a word to him until a year ago. 4. I never, ever, ever wanted or had patience for, or even enjoyed children before I was pregnant for Caroline. 5. Now I have a special love for children before I even know them. I love the way they laugh, and learn, and love. I mostly love the innocent way that they change people. 6. I cut my toenails as short as I can get them every week, I also always keep my finger and toe nails polished. Its an obsession. 7. Ive never been comfortable sleeping alone, and now that Caroline refuses to sleep with me, as soon as Tad leaves for work in the morning I drag her sleeping body into my bed until its time for us to get up. 8. I went to cosmetology school and worked in a salon for years before deciding thats not what I wanted to be when I grew up. I still dont know. 9. My parents lost me once, in the middle of Downtown Baton Rouge with thousands of people at a Halloween event when I was 4. I walked straight up to a police officer and stayed with him refusing to give him any of my personal information even though I knew it all (because my mom told me not to tell strangers) until my parents finally found him, and me. I still very much remember the panicked feeling I had when I all of a sudden wasnt holding anyones hand anymore. 10. I dont worry about ANYTHING, never have. Except with my Caroline, i worry non-stop about everything shes doing or could be doing every second of the day. Its uncontrollable and severe and my family says I need medication.
