10 years ago I took a side trip to Xinnibanna with Al Sargis and Barbara Foley after the International Conference on Marxist Theory in Kunming. Barb and I had taken an earlier side trip to Visit the "people with no word for father or husband around Muzo lake. the lake is north in the mountains. Xinnibanna south in tropical rain forest. We saw this statue wringing her hair in many fountains all over Xinnibanna but learned nothing about her. I know a little now. There is much to discover that is familiar to others.
