10 years ago on this day I started an adventure of a lifetime!!! I joined the United States Army!! I started out as a determined young man to make something better of my life and I found much more than I could ever ask for. I found the meaning of teamwork, cohesion, respect, dignity, and Disclipline!!! Things that really didnt matter before in my life. I have found over the years that Ups and Downs happen and that they only make you stronger. I have found true friends and I dont know what I would do without them!! I have a Loving wife and Amazing children that without them I wouldnt be who i am this day!!! I know I can only say soo much but this is truely a great time for me and I am proud to call myself a SSG in the US Army. To all of you who have been there for me thru out the years thank you from the bottom of my heart. Even though no one remebered this day its ok cause I remember every moment of it and wouldnt change it for the world!!! I thank the Almighty father in Heaven for giving me this opportunity to make it this far and pray that he keeps on blessing me!!! To all of you here in Kandahar I thank you for going through the storms with me and for being there! I couldnt imagine what it would be like without you guys here. I thank my family for their prayers and love they send me!!! God bless you all and thank you!!!!
