10 years ago today I awoke to find broken branches and leaves scattered about. Isabel the hurricane had come through Virginia and left her mark. Schools and Fed Gov were closed and I wanted to get out of the house and ride around to see how things survived the storm. It was a gorgeous fresh fall day. The skies were crystal blue. I jumped on line to see how you faired through the night and told you I wanted to go out and take pictures. You said you wanted to as well so we decided to do it together. We were friends who knew one another for a long time and both knew that that since that game night in August there was so much more. Though through time suppressed, we always knew. Our energies held hands as we drove around. Our hearts held each other as we shopped and laughed at the toy store and the halloween section at Party City; i bumped my head on a rack remember? :D As we walked across the parking lot to go to the movies to see Underworld, I had to have your arm around me. So I took it. I felt your pulse during the movie. Fate was sealed. The magical day after the storm 10 years ago brought two lost spirits together for all eternity.
