100 Virgins To Be Sacrificed Near Sapele For ASUU To Call Off Strike. It seems the on-going ASUU strike has taken its toll on the psyche of some citizens, after it was widely reported that a village near Sapele in Delta has finalised plans to sacrifice 100 virgins to their local deity to facilitate the calling off of the ASUU strike. Our bewildered FNN reporter in Delta state who spoke with the chief priest reports that, according to the Chief Priest, the decision had to be taken after due consultation with the gods, because a lot was at stake. This sacrifice was deemed necessary, because the Village is about to produce the first ever graduate in the history of their existence, with a first class. The Chief Priest told us “She is the jewel of this village, and she was about to start her final semester before the strike began. With all this strike, how will she graduate? We have already paid masquerade that will dance at her convocation”. Another villager told us; “my brother, she has to graduate o! She is the saviour of this land…….I hear she is studying Doctor, and she can cure any disease and save our farmland and even make rain to fall when she graduates and finish school. If the gods want 200 more virgins we would sacrifice them, if for nothing, at least Yerima will not see them to marry”. It seems like a legitimate action to finally reslove this strike issue, but we at FNN hope this so called chief priest isn’t a contractor with the boko Haram, supplying them virgins under the ruse of ASUU sacrifice.
