#100HappyDays posting a picture each day that depicts what makes me happy...todays picture is a clip from yesterdays 2nd round match at Wimbledon between Novak Djokovic and Radek Stepanek (a 35-year old, ranked 38 and playing unbelievably well against the world #1). Stepaneks ball hit the baseline, but was called out by the linesman. When Stepanek challenged the call, and the video revealed that the shot was inbounds, the umpire decided that they should replay the point. Djokovic basically overruled the ump and conceded the point rightly to Stepanek. I have been watching tennis for four decades and never remember seeing a player concede a point in such a situation. This was at a VERY pivotal time in the match when Djokovic was desperately trying to avoid a fifth set. Class personified. Btw, he did win the fourth set and the match...all while retaining his integrity...how cool is that?? :-)
