#100happydays Starting a new adventure often isnt easy. If youre dedicated to your adventure, all your stuff is sure to raise its head. And the Greenshields Great Galavanting, as it will now affectionally be known ;-), was no exception to this rule. For four years, it has been our intention to create a life of freedom, in every way possible. The only way I know to live the life you want is to actually do and be it, and experience it - sitting around and continuing to plan it, and waiting until you think everything is perfect (which it will never be), doesnt work. So this trip was the next step for us. Of course, when you start to drive down the road, which heads in the direction of your dreams, there will be some bumps. Sometimes theyre big, but when you can breathe, BE, and focus on the vision, the bumps get smaller, and the road isnt so treacherous (until you set another big intention in your life of adventure! But that will probably be another post). As with any transition, it takes some time to begin to feel a level of comfort. We travelled around Victoria for several months, using James mums home as a base. We knew at the time it was because we needed to make sure we felt a level of safety before we ventured further afield. Once upon a time we would have beat ourselves up for that - because we werent doing things according to the plan. But when you decide to be kind to yourself the transition occurs with much more grace and ease ;-). So in those few months we travelled up to the high country, to the Great Ocean Road, and the incredible old growth forests in Victoria. Each trip we took, we confirmed to ourselves why it was we had decided to embark upon this particular chapter of adventure in our life. If, like me, you enjoy finding lessons in everything, you will see that we were following the principles of any fulfilled person. We continued to take little steps, despite our fears, to confirm a new belief that we could live wherever we want, do whatever we want, and be whoever we want, when we choose. Every time we did it, we moved a little further away from the old beliefs that limited us from living the life of our dreams. Was it easy? No. But it was incredibly rewarding and, when we were IN each experience, it was mind-blowingly beautiful! Im sharing some of those pics from our Victorian travels today, on #day90 of #happydays #ilovetravel #ilovetravelwithmykids #homeschool #schooloflife #greatoceanroad
