11/03/2014 DAILY SPRING: TOPIC: THE NECESSITY OF AWARENESS TEXT: Joh 5:36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me. The Almighty God has called every believer to work in His vineyard. Some are called into a special assignment, which requires special consecration and concentration. However, the most important thing that is expected of you is to have awareness of your calling, the assignment and be in constant relationship with God who owns the blue-print of the job, the structures and the resources; to avoid or minimize errors. Having this understanding, will make you free from unnecessary jealousy, disenchantment, competition, pride and any other vices that may impinge your vision of what is committed into your hands to do by God. The Lord Jesus Christ gave us an insight, of the assignment that is expected to be finished and how the works should bear witness of us that the Almighty God has sent us. He had full awareness of the works that were given to Him to do, the exigency of completion and how it should bear witness to authenticate His calling. HALLELUJAH! Beloved, every worker of the Kingdom of God must be called, ordained, anointed and commissioned. We need awareness in this regard, to enable us bridge the gap that is existing in the vineyard of God. This gap is what our adversary (Satan) and his agents are exploiting to weaken the unity of believers. The Almighty God knows the essence of team work (Gen.1:26) same with our Lord Jesus Christ when He chose the twelve disciples to accomplish the Divine assignment. Therefore, endeavour to know the area of your assignment in the vineyard and be informed that the works of the Kingdom of God is not a “one-man show” but a collective effort that brings glory and honour to His name. Let what has been committed into your hands by God bear witness of you, that you are authentic and be aware that the works must be finished on time. Get this awareness! It is a function of your confidence in accomplishing the task. PRAYER: Psa 119:33 HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. Psa 119:34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
