After 4 false alarms, 4 good bye kisses, I received the greatest gift from an anonymous 25 year old donor who died suddenly. Joshua Sonett saved my life with his skill and compassion. John McArdle had already saved me several times at Yale New Haven Hospital. I wouldnt be here today without these two amazing doctors, my rock and compass in life, Beth Sweeney, and my donor. We should all celebrate life and allow ourselves to be in awe of the miracles happening everyday. We are all intertwined on this roller coaster called life, even if the speed and drops have us terrified for whats coming next. Embrace every moment, be aware that life is so fragile, and consider saving someones life: become an organ donor so that people like me can see my 2 boys grow up and experience this roller coaster.
