11/18/14 - Evening Note Tonight, well be dropping down into the upper teens for a low. However, winds between 10-15 mph with gusts near 25 mph are likely. This will result in wind chills in the upper single digits, between 5-10 degrees. Please take precautions against the cold if you must be out. Make sure to wear plenty of layers and protect as much of your skin as possible. Limited skin exposure will help keep you warm and safe for longer. If you are driving, consider keeping an emergency blanket with you to keep warm in case anything should impair your travel. Also, keep an eye on those pets and limit outdoor exposure during the overnight cold and into the morning, as their susceptibility to cold is quite similar to ours and frostbitten paws, ears, and noses are no fun for anyone. Additionally, I posted earlier about the relaunch of the Kickstarter fundraiser to upgrade HCWW hardware, software, and services. However, the reach was rather limited, so I wanted to mention it again here this evening. For full details, see the earlier post or visit the website and click on the black and green banner to read about the potential and pledge to donate. (I am not linking it here, as links and pictures have a more limited reach than text posts.) If everyone who follows the page donated just $1, the goal would almost be quintupled. It doesnt take much to make a difference and I provide most of these services to you for free, so please consider helping out today so that I can continue to improve the quality and quantity of HCWW services. If you cannot pledge to donate (and I certainly understand if you cannot), please share this status to spread the word and try to gather support. Thanks in advance for any and all support you can offer!!! Bundle up, stay warm, keep an eye on the sky, and have a great night!!! -Pete
