11/27/2013, 8:57 AM Psalm 34:9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. 10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. 9 O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. Fear The Lord Most fears feed the poverty of our hearts, and soul, which then infects every aspect of our lives, and person. The fear of the Lord is a healthy desire to honor and respect God Himself, to the allowing Him the influence, and the attention to everything we think, and do, and surrender to anything, and everything that he would say, and do regarding the same. In other words we make the decisions of life that are necessary, but realize God has the final decision in the process. We all have regrets of past mistakes we have made, and a lot of them there is little to nothing we can do about it now, but give it to God. If we are walking in the fear of God, we will have less, or possibly no fear of the decisions we make. For there is no want to them that fear him. Having the Creator God, to give us advice, and special attention is the way of receiving the most pertinent information available. The fear to end all fears, what a wonderful prescription from the Great Physician. Our decisions then will bless others as they see what is demonstrated in, and through our lives. Oh to help inspire the desire, and the destiny of the fear of God in not only our lives, but in the lives of others as well. 10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. Seek The Lord Prayer to many is but a fire escape, its a way to get out of trouble, or a situation. Relationships are vital if we expect anything, from anyone, and yet we treat God so differently, we just keep Him in storage till we need Him, and then wonder why He doesnt answer. Could He be to busy with all He would have entrusted to us, as we grew in His prosperity, but failed even to consider. Seeking God is usually with an entirely different attitude, and desire. Its a desperation after God with heart, mind, and soul, to know Him, to love Him, and to serve Him. When you find Him then to learn to wait in Him, God slows our pace, so we dont lose Him in the race. Patience must be greater than our pace, or we will find ourselves in continual conflict, and confusion. Even in seeking God waiting is needed to underline our determination, and commitment. Stillness is vital to receiving, and its vital to growth, Be still and know that I am God. Shall not want any good (thing is in italics, it was not in the original text) These words are left all inclusive as to God being the perfect giver of everything good. Lord perfect in us, and trough us the fear of the Lord, and keep us seeking You that our greatest desire may to be like Jesus. In Jesus name, Amen
