Description of Housing The house is located in neighborhood of Coghlan, near hundreds of stores and different means of transportation like trains and buses. Coghlan is located right next to Belgrano. It is also one of the residential neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. It’s very quiet and although is not very close from the university, it is close to some of the students. Gladys is now a housewife. She used to work as a medical professor at Universidad Austral, one of the leading universities in Argentina. Luis is a surgeon. He used to work at Hospital Pirovano, located only 2 blocks from their house. They have 3 daughters who have moved recently. Two of them live abroad. Once their daughters left the house they decided to host international students. They don’t smoke but if you do, you can do it outside. The family love living in Buenos Aires and they look forward to sharing their home and culture with you. You may be allowed to make local calls from the house, but you should check with them first. Gladys will cook a variety of Argentine cuisine. Keep an open mind and prepare yourself to try things that are different from what you are used to eating.Please always be respectful if you come home late at night, and always let them know beforehand if you will be missing a meal. The family keeps the house very clean and they would like you to help with some house chores, like keeping your bedroom neat and clean. Your laundry will be done once a week.There is no curfew and you will have your own key to the house. This is a great family who wants you to have a good experience.
