11 months in minecraft working on a single object. In minecraft doing massive builds - block-by-block (without tools like world-edit*) are called legit-builds. Obviously I wasnt going to do something this size (for this long) without proof of this. Heres the screenshot folder 500.pngs compiled into 40 seconds for the latest teaser. The basic maps (skyblock / wool-battle) should be available for download to the public next month. The remainder will be done thru 2015 (the theme-biome arenas as well as the massive amounts of redstone powering various gadgets, traps etc.). [caution do not playback fullsize if sensitive to flashy-strob-ey things] (disclaimer - if youre really fast, youll see MCedit in 2 frames - thats when the build was moved off a public multiplayer server onto my own disks when my tools for making local backups of the project, world downloader, were no longer available / reliable.
