11-yr-old, Muzzamil invents shoes that relieves knee-joint pain 11-year old Muzzamil Pasha is the student of 7th class in Castle Town High School. Whenever he looked at his grand father and uncle suffering from knee-joint pain his heart would ache. He decided to redesign their shoe heel. He changed the shape of shoe heel. He added additional leather to the sole and made the heel more comfortable. Muzzamil’s father Chaand Pasha is an assistant professor of Microbiology in Osmania University. He father told that he made an extensive online search for a shoe which could relieve knee pain but found that no such shoe is available. Then he approached National Invention Foundation to patent the shoe designed by his Muzzamil. Muzzamil revealed that it took the whole year for him to design the shoes after which he also displayed his invention in IGNITE-2014. Muzzamil’s father told that Muzzamil has also designed an electromagneticshield which if fitted in mobile phones can prevent the radio waves emitted from mobile phones from directly affecting our body. The shield designed by using various metals reduces radiation level up to 80 pc. The invention was presented in 22nd National Children’s Science Congress 2014 in Nizamabad. Muzzamil Pasha was presented IGNITE-2014 award by ex-President of India APJ Abdul Kalam recently in a programme. Muzzamil said that his goal is to help others with the help of Science. He offers regular prayers and recites Quran.
