12-03-2014 Pic: Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, stressed that the practical steps to transform Dubai into capital of Islamic economy began acceleration and that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai has a clear and profound vision for Islamic Economy and personally follows up this transformation. He added that the next three years will see the launch of several initiatives in six different areas to accomplish this vision. He also explained that Dubai today has become the third largest global hub for sukuk listing, amounting to more than AED 70 billion since January 2013 only. This came during Sheikh Hamdan’s attendance of a ceremony for listing of about AED 20 billion of Islamic Bank Sukuk on NASDAQ Dubai.
