12-11-2014 >> (J&K BoPEE) >> Common Entrance Test-2014 4th Round of Counselling & Counselling Schedule for upgradation/allotment of seats in Medical Courses (BAMS & BPT only) Notification No. 115-BOPEE of 2014 Dated: 11-11-2014: Consequent upon the short fall (details given below) received by BOPEE from Medical Institutions, the fourth round of counselling for Upgradation & Allotment of discipline/Institution (BAMS & BPT only) shall take place on 20-11-2014 at BOPEE office, 4th Floor, South Block, Bahu Plaza, Jammu. However, the Eligible candidates who are interested in participating in the said counselling have option as per their convenience either to report in BOPEE office of Jammu (4th Floor, South Block, Bahu Plaza) or BOPEE office Srinagar (Bagat-i-Barzullah, Srinagar) All the (Open & Category) candidates within the rank range 1 to 15000 and all P&B eligible candidates are hereby informed that, if they are interested in allotment (if no seat is allotted in the previous rounds of counselling) or upgradation of discipline or institution, based on the shortfall (given below), should attend the counselling on 20Th of November, 2014. The counselling is being conducted in view of conditional permission granted by Central Govt. for extension of date of admission to BAMS, BUMS and other Courses till 30th of November, 2014. >> IMPORTANT GUIDELINES FOR COUNSELLING & COUNSELLING SCHEDULE: All the shortlisted candidates, whose rank is in the range specified in the counselling schedule, must be present personally in the counseling and in case a candidate is unable to attend the counselling personally for justifiable reason, he/she can be represented by his/her duly authorized representative with Letter of Authority from the candidate as per the format given on page 70 of CET-2014 Information Brochure. > They have to produce their Online Admit Card downloaded by them from the BOPEE website, all Original Certificates/Documents as given on pages 24-28 under heading в13. > COUNSELLING FOR ALLOTMENT OF DISCIPLINE/INSTITUTIONв of CET 2014 Information Brochure, including Marks Card of 10+2, a set of attested copies of these documents, and a nonrefundable J&K Bank Draft of Rs. 1000 (Rupees one thousand) drawn in favour of FA/CAO, BOPEE/HDFC Bank Challan of Rs. 1000 (Rupees one thousand. However, the candidates who have joined the discipline/institution allotted to them in the first/second/third round of counselling need not pay Rupees 1000/= as counselling fee but they shall have to produce the proof of their admission (fee receipt of the institution they have joined) and C.N.A. candidates are required to produce their Electronic Admit Card. Candidates who have missed their counselling or admission are also eligible for the fourth round of counselling provided they pay additional missed counselling/admission fee of Rs. 1000/= in the form of Bank Draft/Bank Challan. Com/JkLatestupdates . > The PCB candidates claiming benefit of Poor & Backward (P&B) category under category code 05 must possess original certificates issued by the respective Competent Authorities. The candidates without required original certificates shall not be allowed to participate in the counselling under the said category. > The latest Seat Matrix will be displayed at BOPEE office, Srinagar and Jammu respectively during the counselling as per the Schedule given above and on BOPEEвs websites during the period of counselling. The counselling for allotment of Discipline and Institution shall be held strictly in accordance to the guidelines given in Information Brochure-2014. The allotment of seats shall be made to the candidates on the basis of their merit/rank, choice and availability of seat at the time of counselling. The candidates are advised to go through the seat matrix, available on the BOPEE official website, in order to weigh their chance of upgradation/allotment of discipline/institution. > The resultant vacancy, if any, will be filled up during the same counselling session. The students are advised in their interest to remain available in the BOPEE office till the conclusion of the counselling. > Important Note: > 1. Mere mention of a rank in the counselling schedule will not accrue any right to candidate who is not otherwise eligible. The P&B category candidates are eligible subject to verification of their category certificates. Where a category certificate is found invalid, the concerned candidate shall not be considered for counseling/selection as such category candidate. > 2. A waiting List for admission in different private colleges shall be prepared in order to ensure that no seat remains vacant. All the interested candidates called for counselling are required to remain in touch to ensure enlisting of their names in the waiting list. > 3. Candidates can find their ranks from BOPEE Websites jakbopee. org . > 4. The P&B Category candidates have been called for counselling in excess of actual number of seats. The counselling of P&B candidates will come to an end once all seats of P&B are exhausted and incase no candidates in P&B category are available for P&B Category seats, they shall be offered to Open Merit Candidates as per the interim direction of Honвble High Court of J&K in the case titled Institute of Ayurveda and Research vs State & Ors. dated 31/10/2014. However, as per the direction such an admission shall be at the risk and responsibility of the candidates and the college and subject to the final outcome of the writ petition. > 5. Registration Time for counselling is from 09:00 A.M to 11.A.M. > 6. The tentative availability of seats (Shortfall) is as under: > a.
